Start with the outside of your house, better known as your curb appeal. Inspect the outside of your home from a quick glance from the street. What do you notice first? What dollar-earning characteristics seem to fade into the background? Knowing this assists us in deciding what we can do to draw buyers from the street and into your house. If your home's exterior isn't as neat as possible with touched up paint and bright greenery it's time to get those things done. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and boost your home's final selling price.

Make yourself at home...
Could a buyer see themselves watching a movie in your living room, relaxing in your master bedroom or hosting a dinner in your dining room? We want your house to welcome buyers and give them a sense of ease. We'll help you accomplish this by recommending changes that enhance your home's features. We'll tell you put in storage pieces that give the appearance of clutter. Tabletops should be free and clear. Knickknacks, souvenirs, family photos, and refrigerator works of art should get stored away too. You need to "neutralize" the home so buyers can picture it as their new house.
We'll review every room of your home. We'll point out the pieces of furniture that should be put in storage, rooms that need new paint, carpet needing to be changed, fixtures that need shining, and any other improvement that can easily be made to positively impact the sale.
We'll make sure that your home has mass appeal and that it's inviting, avoiding "loud" or "personalized" colors on the walls and furniture. And if you've already moved out, you can think about borrowing furnishings. The goal is for your home to look homey as opposed to vacated.

Setting the Stage
During your Open House, we want to capture buyers' attention. Dark living areas can be a real mood killer, so we'll do things like draw back curtains and add lighting where needed to invite the buyer inside. Together we'll enhance the ambiance with enjoyable music playing lightly and assure a pleasant aroma flows room-to-room. We'll add cozy-looking blankets, and pillows on your couch and bed. We want buyers to feel like your current home is their future home.
